Real Estate Services:
The Law Offices of Peter K. Vollers, PLC specializes in all real estate and commercial transactional legal services. Whether you are buying, selling or financing, it’s important to know that you have someone in your court looking out for your interests and your interests only. It can be overwhelming to come from a different state and try to understand the myriad Vermont land use laws and regulations pertaining to real property. At Vollers Law, we’re experts in all facets of transactional and land use law, so you can leave the complexity to us.
But that’s only part of what we offer in a typical transaction. What we really do is serve as your 24/7 confidant and counselor. Whether you’re asking a question about subdivision law, radon levels, septic systems, the better elementary schools or even where to go for dinner, we’re here for you and we don’t just work 9-5. Having the benefit of state of the art communications technology available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we can work around your hours. If you live in Europe and need us to communicate around a six-hour time difference or you work 12 hours a day in New York City and only have evenings and weekends to attend to your Vermont transaction, we’ll be there, on your terms and on your time.
Ancient Road Consulting:
With the Vermont Unidentified Corridors statute coming into full flower in 2010, many towns are now working hard to research, locate, map and report their network of ancient, unmaintained public roads. Whether you own a large parcel of land and you’re curious about that old “wood road” or “farm road” that’s always crossed the back 40 or you are buying property and have been told, “Oh, that’s just a snowmobile trail, nothing to worry about,” Vollers Law can perform the research and site inspection work necessary to ascertain, to the best that available records and relevant statutory provisions can indicate, what access rights, if any, pertain to the property.
Junior Bicycle Racing Team: The Law Office of Peter K. Vollers, PLC co-sponsors a junior level bicycle racing team focused on bringing young riders into the lifelong sport of competitive cycling. Peter Vollers, a previous Junior World Championships National Team Member, Collegiate National Champion, and past professional bicycle racer, with the help of Dan and Jenny McKenna, owners of the Start House Ski & Bike Shop Start House Ski and Bike Shop on Central Street in Woodstock, have formed the Woodstock Bicycle Club. The club’s mission is to promote family bicycling and also to support the junior racing team. The club will pay for USA Cycling racing licenses and race entry fees and even provide transportation to and from the races in the team van for any junior level club member wishing to try road and/or cyclo-cross (cyclo-cross) racing.
