Peter and Kim Vollers moved to Vermont in the early 1990's when Peter decided to attend Vermont Law School after graduating from Cornell University with a BA in Government. Kim was a UMASS Amherst hotel school graduate and quickly found a management position at the Woodstock Inn & Resort. Not long after that, Key Vollers was born and then a couple of years later Grace came along. Peter had been a Junior National Team member cyclist, then Collegiate National Champion and even took time away from Cornell to race as a professional before settling down to life as a country squire. When Key grew to racing age, Peter founded and coached the powerful Killington Mountain School Junior Cycling Team. Once Key graduated, Peter turned his attentions to promoting gravel bicycle events through a company he founded in his spare time, Vermont Overland. Peter has since passed the Vermont Overland reins off to one of his most talented KMS Junior Team members, Ansel Dickey.
When Kim Vollers landed her dream job running an amazing boutique hotel in Alburquerque, NM (Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm), Peter decided to split his time between Woodstock and New Mexico, working in Woodstock during the busy real estate months and then working remotely from NM during the slower times. Regardless of where Peter is located, just call, email or text anytime and you’ll have Peter’s undivided attention within minutes.
